Can't Believe It

After all the humming and hawing, I have finally done it...not sure how good it will be but I will give it a try.

The worst thing about blogging was coming up with a name that I could use, I have searched the web and even asked friends what could I use as a great name and whoola...I picked Flip Flop because:
I love flip flops(who has enough pairs....ever)
and I was a little flipfloppy on the whole blog starting....so here it goes.

This weekend was a very busy weekend for us, our annual block party that we have attended for the last 5 years....the kids absolutely love it and it gets bigger and bigger every year. This year my job was to be in charge of the scavenger hunt so of course I left my job to the bitter end, so there was me on Friday night trying to come up with 50 items for the kiddies to find either in our bay or in someones house. It was a complete success, we had 30 kids come for the hunt and they had a 1/2 hour to find all 50 items and bring them to my house where they would find a colored basket to put them in. The winning team was a tie so Parker's team and another had to flip a coin to see who would win and it was Parker's team...they were pumped. Everyone one a prize and fun was had by all. We also had bouncers and bouncy slides, bonfire and way too many drinks once the kidlets went to bed.
